Dak Prescott‘s best character trait has to be how much he values giving back to the community. Over the years, he has not held back from his charitable endeavors and won the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, too, which recognized his contributions. Prescott has been an active advocate who has continued to raise awareness against cancer, a disease to which he lost his mother Peggy to.
It was to raise awareness for this cause that the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys attended the 30th Annual Celebrity Fight Night event at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in order to raise money for cancer research. Dak Prescott attended the event with his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, at his side.
Prescott attended the event dressed in a dark pinstriped suit and a pair of glossy loafers. Sarah Jane, on the other hand, wore a gorgeous red dress. The latter posted pictures of their evening on her Instagram handle and captioned it with, “Thank you for an incredible evening,” and tagged the official handle of the event.
Celebrity Fight Night was able to raise over $3 million towards cancer research
It was a successful night in the fight against cancer as Gateway for Cancer Research, the nonprofit that commits itself to funding innovative, Phase 1 and Phase II cancer trials were able to raise over $3 million in funding in one night. Apart from Dak Prescott, there were other actors, entertainers, athletes, philanthropists, and top medical professionals who raised funds for early cancer trials.

Some prominent names were Michael Buble, the Grammy-winning singer who performed at the event followed by Rachel Platten, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Joey Fatone, members of NSYNC. 16-time Grammy Awardee David Foster, Katharine McPhee, and Caroline Rhea were other notable names present. Prescott and Calvin Johnson represented the NFL community at the event.
Dak Prescott was honored with the Mary Brown Stephenson Award in recognition of his commitment to fund colon cancer research through his Faith Fight Finish Foundation. The event featured a cocktail reception, a silent auction, a dinner, and a live auction of unique items.
Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos, the recently-turned-parents had a good time while supporting a great cause. The quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys continues to do his part to support treatments against cancer as it is a cause that is near and dear to his heart.
