The most significant day of their lives—the day of their marriage—a Lithuanian couple astonished each other by getting tattoos of themselves.

The bride, Kotryna Nauseda, 28, and her boyfriend, Arturas Nauseda, 31, celebrated their nuptials in early June. Before the wedding, this couple had been dating for six years.

Kotryna posted videos from their wedding ceremony to the social media platform Tik Tok, where they swiftly racked up more than 996,000 views. They tattooed each other during the wedding ceremony, thus it’s a bizarre activity that serves as the attraction.

According to Kotryna, “we were encouraged to have a ceremony with special meaning for the day of return home during the planning of the wedding ceremony and consulting with the wedding host. Since none of the suggestions were really original, we came up with our own.

The couple both love tattoos, owning many tattoos on their bodies.

The Lithuanian pair made the decision to have a unique relationship emblem tattooed on each other. describing this distinctive “We both have numerous tattoos, and tattoo art has always served as my spouse and I’s connection, according to Kotryna. So it makes sense that they would want to get inked on their future wedding day. Since June 2 is the day we become legally married, we chose the tattoo design “222” to represent our union.

Many friends, including those who had never had a tattoo, got inked during the ceremony, according to the bride: “To commemorate our wedding anniversary, many friends got 2 dots tattooed. Most of the tattoos at the wedding were done by Arturas and me.”

The wedding of Kotryna and Arturas garnered attention not just because of the unique ceremony but also because of the bride’s unconventional bridal gown. Kotryna wore a gray dress created by a German designer on her wedding day.

She had decided in advance to wear a white bridal gown by the prestigious design label Dior. But each time she put on the white dress, she paused. And shortly before the wedding, after discussing her concerns with her closest friend regarding the wedding dress, Kotryna decided right away that she had to wear the gray dress.

“The dress was large, giving me the sensation of comfort that a bride should have on her wedding day,” she said in reference to the bridal gown. She also admitted that traditional aspects do not appeal to her personally.
