Day 1:

Breakfast: Bread, peaches, tea. Lunch: Chicken sandwich, apple, peanut butter. Snack: No. Dinner: Pork stew, coleslaw, baked beans, rolls. Dessert: Dark Chocolate.

On the first day Gemma realized that French women’s food is quite simple, easy and quick to prepare, can be prepared at home. She felt quite interested in these dishes.


Day 2:

Morning: Toast, apple. Lunch: Pork stew, coleslaw, leftover baked beans. Snack: Fresh pineapple. Dinner: Grilled salmon with asparagus. Dessert: Chocolate chip cookies.

Taking advantage of leftovers from the previous meal, Gemma reprocessed it for a light lunch. In addition, she also realized that French women are quite focused on decoration, just paying attention to a little decoration makes the dish look much more attractive.

Day 3:

Morning: Mixed oats, tea. Noon: No. Snack: Baked chickpeas. Evening: Cod wrapped in foil. Dessert: Hot chocolate cake.

Morning: Mango, guava smoothie. Lunch: Cacio e pepe noodles. Snack: No. Dinner: Red beans mixed with rice. Dessert: Chocolate brownie.

Morning: Soaked oats, tea. Noon: Bread. Snack: Greek yogurt with raspberries. Dinner: Stir-fried noodles with beef. Dessert: Blackberry ice cream.

Morning: Pecan pie, tea. Lunch: Chicken salad. Snack: Chilled chicken. Dinner: Tomato soup, croissants. Dessert: Chocolate chip cookies.

Above is the entire French diet menu that BTV Gemma tried to apply in 1 week. After this experiment, she realized that the way French girls build a body-maintenance diet is based on readily available, easy-to-find foods . French food is not sophisticatedly processed , even quite simple such as pan-fried fish, yogurt mixed with fruit, oats mixed with milk … so it is very quick and anyone can do it. At the same time, these dishes also help reduce fat .
