What game is Tom Brady broadcasting in Week 2? Here’s what we know

Tom Brady is set to commentate over this Sunday’s Dallas Cowboys’ clash against the New Orleans Saints.

Brady will be continuing his broadcast career into Week 2 of the NFL regular season with lowered expectations after his debut as a broadcaster received mixed reactions from fans and commentators alike, finding him awkward and underwhelming in the role.

However, some in the sports world are calling criticism of Brady’s broadcast work unwarranted, as ESPN sportscaster Joe Buck said on the Michael Kay Show that it is too soon to assess how good Brady will be as a sports broadcaster after calling a single game

Tom Brady commentator salary

The seven-time Super Bowl champion signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with FOX Sports, replacing Greg Olsen, another ex-NFL star turned commentator.

Fox’s investment may be paying off, as Week 1’s game had 23.8 million viewers tune in for Brady’s first foray into live sportscasting after his long career of football supremacy, according to Sports Media Watch, although many of those viewers may have just been watching to see the start of the season.

We will have to see if Week 2’s Cowboys-Saints game can pull in the same numbers.

Tom Brady broadcasting partner

Brady’s broadcast partner is play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt, who will accompany him to Dallas for Week 2’s game.

You can watch Brady’s next broadcast performance on Sunday, Sept. 15 on Fox Sports. The game will begin at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
