It doesn’t matter if Tom Brady turns 47 on August 3; Davante Adams would love the chance to play with the 7 time Super Bowl winner. Amidst the rumors of the all-pro wideout’s move away, he wants Brady to come out of retirement and play for the Las Vegas Raiders.
There’s always the possibility of Brady making his comeback. Since hanging up his boots last year, the former New England Patriots dropped several hints about making another stunning comeback.
Davante Adams is well aware of the 5 times Super Bowl MVP’s actions. So, when Shannon Sharpe asked the 31-year-old about playing with Brady, Adams stopped the Hall of Famer mid-sentence.
The Raiders did not sign any quarterbacks, as head coach Antonio Pierce opted to stick with Aidan O’Connell, who had a 5-5 record in 2023. In addition, they signed Gardner Minshew from the Indianapolis Colts as a backup.

Earlier this year, ESPN’s Dan Graziano learned about the possible return of Brady prior to the draft. In his opinion, the Patriots HOF will unlikely suit up again because he did not go through with his offseason training, and the Michigan graduate is famous for not going through any gig with a halfhearted approach.

There’s one scenario Graziano cited that could work.
However, the biggest hurdle in the path of Tom Brady’s comeback is his bid for minority ownership in the Raiders, which he signed off on with owner Mark Davis in early 2023. The deal remains pending because the owners of several other franchises did not give their seal of approval.
Furthermore, Brady signed a 10-year deal with FOX Sports, agreeing to become their analyst. The former Buccaneers star is set to replace longtime contributor Greg Olsen. Brady will make his debut in the Week 1 tie between the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys.
