Stereotypes are a product of both the media and advertising. This can be seen in people who think a woman needs to have a muscular body, a small figure, or a nice face in order to be “attractive” to a guy.

However, a study conducted by the University of St. Andrews in Scotland confirms what previous research has shown, namely that males prefer curvy women.

David Perrett’s research, which was published in the journal Ethology, demonstrates that males who are under a lot of stress find obese women more alluring.

In the trial, stress levels rose among 18 to 26-year-old practitioners who loved the faces of females who gained a few kilograms because they believed “they were likely to survive in difficult times,” like a famine or war, after viewing different photographs of women.
