Zack Martin added one more member to his family this offseason.
On Thursday, the Dallas Cowboys offensive guard announced the birth of a baby boy named Hudson Gage Martin in a shared Instagram post with his wife, Morgan. According to the Martins, Hudson was born Feb. 20 in Plano.The longtime Cowboys offensive lineman is the latest Dallas athlete to welcome a new child. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen became new parents in February, while Stars goaltender Scott Wedgewood missed Wednesday’s game against Arizona for the birth of his child. Mavericks star Luka Doncic became a father in December.
Morgan Martin stated in the Instagram post that she endured a 10-night stay in Medical City Plano’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) due to a complicated delivery.
“We want to thank our village of friends and family rushing to our side to help with Charlie and Remi, sending meals, and just being the absolute best support system!” Morgan Martin wrote on Instagram. “We also want to thank the labor and delivery nurses, doctors, and NICU nurses at Medical City Plano for their quick action after delivery that saved our sweet Hudson life! It’s been a crazy 10 days but we’re glad that is all behind us! Time to finally enjoy our sweet Hudsy boy!”
