James continued his incredible start to the season.

Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James returned to Cleveland on Saturday night for the first time this season.

Whenever he returns, it’s a meaningful event for him after spending a good portion of his career with the Cavaliers.

“Stepping back on this floor and knowing I was part of pretty much all the banners in this arena, that’s pretty cool,” said James, who starred on all six of the Cavaliers’ Eastern Conference title teams. “It’s very special to be a kid from Akron and to have been drafted here and played 11 years in Cleveland.”

Per Brian Dulik of NBA.com

The Lakers took down Cleveland by a score of 121-115, earning their 10th win of the year. James put in 22 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks on the night. He continued his incredible start to the season, helping the Lakers get the win.

With his performance, he extended his historic league-record streak of double-digit scoring performances. It’s just another example of what has made James so special over the years.

What James has accomplished over the years is something out of a storybook, but it’s somehow real. He is still doing things at his age that nobody ever thought possible, and it’s a marvel to witness.

In year 21, James continues to be dominant on the floor, and he has helped carry the Lakers this season. If anything, LA has been a little too reliant on him this season, and they will need others to step up as the year progresses.
