Tom Brady has seen and done it all in the NFL. Had he not played in the league for 20 years, he most likely would not be in the position he’s in. He may not have met Gisele Bundchen and ended up with the same kids.
However, the former New England Patriots quarterback wouldn’t have had it any other way. At least, that is one implication of his heartfelt Thanksgiving post on Thursday. The FOX commentator shared a picture of his kids on his Instagram story and thanking them.

“Thankful for this crew (Heart emoji]). Happy Thanksgiving (Turkey emoji),” Brady captioned.
Brady and the rest of America will be able to watch a de facto bonus NFL Sunday on Thanksgiving. Every year, the league puts on a full day of games; however, unlike on Sundays, the league will only have three games, one at a time. The seven-time Super Bowl champion will have plenty to keep up with on this holiday, but he also has hands-on coverage to do as well.

Tom Brady had to play on holidays before, but as an NFL retiree, he might have thought that holidays away from the family were over. However, he was in for a rude awakening in an on-air conversation on Tuesday with FOX’s Curt Menefee.
“What?” Brady said.
The former quarterback’s reaction resulted in laughter in the studio. It is unclear if the he had other plans, but now his plans are crystal clear. As FOX’s top commentator, he is expected to work the 4:30 p.m. EST game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants.
The quarterback has since changed his tune, claiming to “study his a** off” on the “Let’s Go!” podcast on Tuesday.
“Probably not the way that anyone anticipated going but I’ve been studying my a** off this morning trying to figure out some good storylines for this game,” Brady said. “It’s a little tough to comb through some of these clips.”
Not only will Tom Brady’s Thanksgiving significantly be different than he planned, but the lead-up to Thursday’s game was also impacted. It appears he will need to figure out a way to have a Thanksgiving in his own time like much of the United States.
