The Minnesota Vikings Have 7 of PFF’s Top 100 Free Agents

It could, and some would say should be an offseason filled with change for the Minnesota Vikings.

The team is coming off of a tremendous 14-3 regular season, that concluded with some more early postseason heartbreak for the purple and gold and their fans.

The Vikings will likely have a change at quarterback and could have a lot of new faces on the roster in 2025.

Recently, we highlighted the 25 impending free agents the Vikings have this offseason.

As it turns out, 7 of those 25 are very well thought of according to PFF and have made the website’s Top 100 Free Agents list.

Here are the players that called Minnesota home in 2024 that made the list:

9) Quarterback Sam Darnold

17) Left Tackle Cam Robinson

20) Running Back Aaron Jones

31) Safety Camryn Bynum

33) Cornerback Byron Murphy

54) Safety Harrison Smith

67) Cornerback Stephon Gilmore

If the bulk of those players aren’t back, one could expect a lot of compensatory picks coming Minnesota’s way in the 2026 NFL Draft. That of course assumes that the Vikings won’t heavily deploy the cap space of their own this offseason.

A few targets for Minnesota this free agent cycle include Chiefs Guard Trey Smith (#2 ranked FA), Eagles Defensive Tackle Milton Williams (#32), and Dolphins Safety Jevon Holland (#3).
