Stefon Diggs Returning to Bills Gains Traction Following WR’s Social Media Decision

Stefon Diggs has played for three teams across his 10-year NFL career. And now that the talented wide receiver is officially a free agent, he appears to be searching for team No. 4.

As part of his most recent trade from the Buffalo Bills to the Houston Texans in 2024, the final three years of Diggs’ contract were wiped out.

Although Diggs is currently recovering from a torn ACL, the 31-year-old WR was coming off six consecutive 1,000 yard receiving seasons upon his arrival to Houston.

Diggs’ departure from Buffalo was somewhat unceremonious, as he deleted all of his Bills related photographs from his social media accounts. Well Sunday, Diggs started up the NFL rumor mill when he unarchived all of his photos on Instagram from his time with the Bills.

As of Sunday, there are no official reports linking Diggs to a Bills reunion, but that hasn’t stopped fans from flooding social media with speculation and opinions.

“Is he going back,” @VIKINGGIRL4EVER posted on X.

“Welp we know where he’s going,” @RonnieFrm615 said on X.

“I think I can speak for everyone related to the bills and say I’m good,” @driles22 added on X.

“Nooo! We don’t want him back! He’s toxic and will be toxic for the team. We don’t need or want his drama,” @tera_culverwell aggressively posted on X.

In the eight games Diggs played with the Texans last season, he caught 47 passes for 496 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The NFL world will see how his knee bounces back from surgery, but prior to tearing his ACL, Diggs had been named to four consecutive Pro Bowls.

The Bills current receiving core consists of Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, and Joshua Palmer.
