Former Chicago Bulls player and NBA legend Scottie Pippen spoke about whether he would be a better option for a team than LeBron James.
Pippen was asked if he was the best all-around player in NBA history, and Hall of Famer answered by saying he was the best from a team’s standpoint.
“My success as a team is more successful than LeBron. I got six rings,” Pippen said on a PBD Podcast.
He was asked if an NBA owner, would want to find an all-around player to be his number one, would he pick Pippen or LeBron? Bulls legend answered by mentioning LeBron’s ‘ring chasing’ and questioning the importance of individual awards over championships.
“Do you want individual accolades or do you want championships? Because I didn’t chase mine,” Pippen stated.
