With the Boston Celtics advanced to the Eastern Conference playoffs by defeating the Miami Heat in five games, Jayson Tatum found himself with more free time than he had anticipated.

The Missouri native’s trademark Jordan Tatum 2 sneaker was a part of the instructional. The instructional video is a follow-up to Tatum’s “TIE A TIE” tutorial from April 2013, which got nearly eight million views. Tatum made that video two years before he enrolled at Duke University to play basketball for the renowned Mike Krzyzewski.

Tatum’s channel also included a high school-era video that showcased his youthful professionalism and sense of comedy. Under the heading “J TATUM MOVIE,” he explains why Chaminade College Preparatory Academy is the right choice for him. The ad also included Matthew Tkachuk, a left wing for the Florida Panthers, who went to school with Tatum.

Teammates like Derrick White were able to get good shots thanks to that defense, and White took advantage of them, averaging 22.4 points on 57.7 percent shooting.

In the first round of the playoffs, the Celtics swept the Heat in four of five games because Tatum was at ease passing the ball off to others. White scored 38 points, a postseason career high, in Game 4 while taking 12 more shots than Tatum.

It will appear different every night because “he’s really grown this year,” Mazzulla remarked. With each new season, it will take on a new appearance. I think it’s crucial that he was able to change the series and discover new methods to influence the game.

In Game 5 and going forward in the playoffs, Al Horford started in Kristaps Porzingis’s stead due to the latter’s indefinite absence from the lineup due to a soleus strain. Since he has spent most of the season in the role of Sixth Man, technically, that is a change.

Horford, nevertheless, claimed throughout practice that he doesn’t really alter much. The 17-year veteran has played in 1078 games for the NBA, starting 1036 of them. Horford started in 33 games this season—more than half of his 65 total appearances—because Kristaps Porzingis missed 25 games and other starters became injured.
