The Green Bay Packers may see two of their best players in franchise history back in their conference. Both Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams look to be nearing the end of their time with the New York Jets. As it turns out, there is a chance they could team up one last time in the NFC.

There is a possibility that Rodgers and Adams are a package deal. In New York this past season, we saw the duo still have that connection:
Well, Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton has concocted a trade idea that would keep Rodgers and Adams together, but this time, with the Los Angeles Rams. He has the Rams sending multiple draft picks to the Jets in exchange fort he two offensive stars.
“According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Rodgers would be “thrilled” to play with the Rams if they don’t work out a new deal with [Matthew] Stafford,” Moton wrote. “The Rams can acquire Rodgers and Adams as a package deal to replace Stafford and [Cooper] Kupp and stay in a win-now window. They would also have their first-round pick to take a quarterback or address another position of need.”
This would obviously represent a pretty rough scenario for the Packers, as they would potentially have to face Rodgers and Adams in the playoffs. A wide receiver tandem of Adams and Puka Nacua sounds downright scary, too.

There actually has been some buzz that Green Bay could reunite with Adams this offseason, but it doesn’t seem all that likely. The Packers seem intent on moving forward with their young wide outs, and Adams apparently wants to play on the West Coast.
Based on the fact that the Rams could be trading Stafford, a Rodgers-Adams pairing in Los Angeles is actually pretty realistic.
The Packers and Rams don’t play each other during the 2025 regular season. If this massive move happened, it would take a playoff matchup to see these two face off against their old team.
Here is a look at Rodgers’ stats in 2024:
