Prince Harry should self-deport from the US because he ‘hates America’, the right-wing think tank pursuing the release of his immigration records has claimed.
Samuel Dewey, a lawyer with the Heritage Foundation, said that the Duke of Sussex was ‘furious’ at voters for electing Donald Trump in the 2024 election.
If he dislikes the President, Harry should just ‘go home’ back to the UK, Dewey exclusively told DailyMail.com.
Dewey also revealed that Heritage has filed a second lawsuit to obtain the Duke’s immigration papers to find out whether he lied about his drug use on the forms.
That means the case will drag on for months more, potentially causing further anxiety for Harry amid speculation that Trump could deport him.
Earlier this week, heavily redacted records were released by the Department of Homeland Security after an earlier lawsuit was filed by Heritage.
A lawyer acting for DHS claimed that Harry did not get special treatment when he emigrated to the US and that releasing too much information would breach his privacy and subject him to ‘harassment’.

Samuel Dewey, a lawyer with the Heritage Foundation, said that the Duke was ‘furious’ at voters for electing Donald Trump in the 2024 election and that he should go back to the UK
He cited parts of the transcript of the in-camera hearing from last April, where lawyers and the judge talked about some records being held by the Department of State which handles non-immigrant visas.
The transcript suggested a ‘mismatch’ between the DHS and State Department files, Dewey said.
‘If he’d say I used drugs or was in on a diplomatic visa that would be in the DHS files,’ the attorney said.
‘Then you wouldn’t have this situation where the judge says I don’t have the full story. That’s what we read from these documents.’
Dewey said that the documents have given Heritage a new ‘working theory’, that Harry was in the US on an O-1 visa, also known as the ‘artist visa’, and that they believe he may have lied on the paperwork about his drug use.
And aside from Harry’s paperwork, the Duke ‘really ought to go’ from America after repeatedly criticizing Trump including a recent thinly-veiled jibe about ‘weak moral character in the world’, Dewey said.
‘He’s in a country he clearly hates.
‘He’s clearly furious at the American voters and attacking them for the result of the 2024 election.

The date of the think tanks FOIA filing lines up with Harry’s ‘Freedom Flight’ from Canada to the US with his wife, Meghan Markle. The two live in Montecito, California, with their two children
Harry should just go home’.
Heritage’s lawsuit against DHS lasted two years before six heavily redacted documents were released on Tuesday.
Heritage argued that Harry admitted repeated drug use in his 2023 memoir Spare and his Netflix TV series, including using cannabis, cocaine and magic mushrooms.
Had the Duke mentioned that on his immigration forms when he moved to the US in 2020, Harry could have been denied entry or faced further questioning.
The latest lawsuit was filed at the federal court in the District of Columbia and is being overseen by the same judge as the first one, Judge Carl Nichols.
In the court documents, Heritage claims that the Department of State has failed to respond to its FOIA request promptly.
The request was submitted on September 24 last year and uses Harry’s full name.
It asks for: ‘All records related to his Royal Highness Prince Henry Charles Albert David George of Wales, the Duke of Sussex, the Earl of Dumbarton, and Baron Kilkeel K.C.V.O. from January 2020 to the present.’
The broad request includes reports, text messages, emails, notes and intra-office communications.
The date coincides with Harry’s ‘Freedom Flight’ from Canada to the US with his wife, Meghan Markle. The two live in Montecito, California, with their two children.
After the release of the DHS records, Nile Gardiner, Director of the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom at Heritage, told DailyMail.com that the redactions were because of a hangover from the ‘Biden approach’ to the case.
He said: ‘We would strongly urge President Trump and the new administration to release the records to the American people so they judge for themselves without relying on the interpretation of the Biden administration.
‘If Harry lied he should be prosecuted and deported if necessary.
‘Nothing changes the big picture and I remain positive we will see Prince Harry’s full immigration records.’
Trump has previously said he ‘wouldn’t protect’ Harry because he betrayed the late Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke’s grandmother.
But after taking office the President changed his tune and said he would allow him to stay – but only because his wife is’terrible’.
