PFF’s highest-graded 49ers offensive players of the 2024 season

The San Francisco 49ers’ 2024 campaign fell short of expectations, with the team finishing with just six wins, placing last in the NFC West, and missing the postseason for the first time since 2020.

Despite the disappointment, several offensive players delivered standout performances and earned notable grades from Pro Football Focus (PFF). Below is a list of the 49ers’ top 12 offensive performers, per the analytics site, along with their offensive grades.

TE George Kittle, 92.1

T Trent Williams, 85.6

WR Jauan Jennings, 83.1

QB Brock Purdy, 82.4

RG Dominick Puni, 80.5

T Jaylon Moore, 74.9 G

Ben Bartch, 74.8

WR Brandon Aiyuk, 74.6

RB Jordan Mason, 72.7

T Colton McKivitz, 71.3

RB Christian McCaffrey, 71.3

WR Deebo Samuel, 70.9

Unfortunately, injuries were a significant storyline for the 49ers in 2024. Despite being among the team’s highest-graded players, Williams, Moore, Aiyuk, Mason, and McCaffrey missed time late in the season and finished on injured reserve.

Quick Notes

Notably, George Kittle earned the highest grade among 49ers offensive players and was the top-graded tight end in the NFL this season. His 92.1 offensive grade was a career-high and narrowly surpassed defensive end Nick Bosa’s 91.0 defensive grade, making Kittle the highest-graded Niner overall. Kittle also led the team with a stellar receiving grade of 92.4.

While the team’s running back depth was tested throughout the season, with several players starting games, surprisingly, quarterback Brock Purdy earned the highest rushing grade on the team (90.2).

Despite missing the latter part of the season, left tackle Trent Williams maintained his dominance when healthy, earning the team’s best pass-blocking grade (84.5). Meanwhile, rookie right guard Dominick Puni emerged as a bright spot on the offensive line, earning the highest run-blocking grade among 49ers linemen. His 80.5 offensive grade was the best among all rookie offensive linemen league-wide.
