LeBron James Picks Tom Brady Among His NFL Quarterback Greats

Tom Brady is widely regarded as the greatest NFL player of all time, and the New England Patriots were fortunate to have him as their quarterback for many years. He is consistently ranked among the top players in NFL history, a sentiment echoed in selections such as LeBron James’ NFL quarterback Mount Rushmore, which includes Brady alongside Patrick Mahomes, Joe Montana, John Elway, and Peyton Manning.

Recently, Brady began a new phase in his career, transitioning to sports broadcasting. He is set to start his broadcasting career with the play-by-play for a game between the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1.

Over his illustrious NFL career, Brady played 335 games, completing 64.3 percent of his passes for a total of 89,214 yards, and throwing 649 touchdowns against 212 interceptions. He also rushed for 1,123 yards and scored 28 rushing touchdowns. While he spent the majority of his career with the Patriots, his final three seasons were with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady’s peers on James’ list, such as Mahomes, Montana, Elway, and Manning, are all deserving of their places, but Brady remains at the apex of this elite group. Mahomes, with his impressive start, may one day challenge for the title of “GOAT,” but he has a long way to go.

It’s also noteworthy when sports legends like James, often considered the “GOAT” of the NBA, acknowledge greatness in athletes from other sports, highlighting a mutual respect among top athletes.
