“Leave us alone demon”, “Just come back”: NFL fans divided as Tom Brady jokes about possible unretirement

Tom Brady shared his new vlog series on YouTube. The NFL icon teased his comeback and sent shockwaves into the football world. Fans took to the internet to share their opinions on the matter.

The former New England Patriots quarterback teased his return to football several times before. He has returned to the game after retiring previously. This lends more credence to his claims of coming back.

On his newly launched vlog, ‘Last Week with Tom,’ the seven-time Super Bowl winner was enjoying himself on his yacht. Here, he hinted at making a comeback.

“I just want to make sure all those young bucks in the NFL know that if I still wanted to come out of retirement”, Brady said in the vlog. “They still got something to deal with.”

NFL fans were left divided at this point, with some wanting Tom Brady to stay retired while others suggesting he could still do it if he wanted to.

“Leave us alone demon.”

“Tom Brady just come back, enough with the teasing stuff.”

The naysayers doubted the 47-year-old for his age and wanted him to look after his kids rather than worry about young QBs in the league.

“N*gga take care of your kids”, wrote one fan on X.

“Dudes EGO is huge. You’re 45-46 you don’t gotta prove it to the YOUNG BUCKS”, wrote another fan.

Many fans, however, trusted Brady’s raw talent and skill to still do it in 2024.

“Bro is still a top 5 QB at 50”, wrote one fan.

“He’s still better than half of the starters in the league,” wrote another fan.

Tom Brady has a lot on his plate

Though Tom Brady might be teasing about his apparent comeback, the 15-time Pro Bowler will be aptly busy nonetheless. The former QB, apart from multiple ventures, has delved into the YouTube world with his new vlog series.

From September 8th, Brady can also be seen calling games for Fox Sports. His broadcasting role will continue for a decade after signing a $375 million contract in 2022. He took a break the following season but for the upcoming season, Brady will be welcomed back to the football world in a new role.
