Milton Williams is ready to go.
The new defensive end, who signed with the Patriots in free agency, spoke about New England’s defense on the Green Light Podcast with Chris Long and revealed who he’s most excited to play with this season.
“Barmore for sure… Definitely him,” Williams began.
But there’s one player that the former Eagles star feels he already connects with.
“And Keion White. I see a lot of myself in him, just how he carries himself, how he goes about his business, how he works, similar body type,” Williams said. “He’s got everything in the toolbox to really line up wherever, having that versatility to playing inside and outside.
“I pride myself on being able to do the same thing, so I already told him, ‘If we end up on the same side, when it’s time to go rush, it’s going to get nasty. It’s going to get nasty.'”
White was selected by the Patriots in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Georgia Tech. In his two seasons with New England, he has recorded 82 total tackles, six sacks, and 8 passes defended. Specifically, five of those sacks were from the 2024 season.
He has shown a lot of promise, but hasn’t gotten the ability to hone in on his skills due to all the coaching changes and defensive struggles.
But, with Mike Vrabel running the show and Terrell Williams serving as defensive coordinator, this season is expected to be different.
So get ready NFL, because Williams just put everyone on warning about the Patriots defensive line.
