Now this would be the ultimate trade to pull off before the NFL Draft.

There is still plenty of time for some major news to break in the NFL before the draft which is less than two weeks away officially. It could be a free agent signing, a releasing, or even perhaps a trade that could shake up how the draft plays out live from Green Bay, Wisconsin.
This offseason, the Buffalo Bills have not been quiet as they have made a great amount of impact on free agency. Mostly on defense, the Bills have brought impactful players that the team is hoping can contribute right away. However, there’s always a way to improve even more.
According to Spotrac, the Bills still have $6 million to work with. Maybe they go out and sign another potential free agent at some point, whether it’s before or after the draft. Brandon beane has done that before with the signing of edge rusher Leonard Floyd back in 2023 in the middle of the summer.
Don’t be surprised if the Bills make another free agent signing, or even a trade potentially before the start of the 2025 season. However, anything can happen with any player no matter how valuable they are to their team. We see stars get traded all the time and Lou Scataglia from NFL Spin Zone has made a massive trade proposal where the Bills land a superstar player in Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys.
Bills land Micah Parsons in major blockbuster trade proposal
Scataglia put together a list of the pre-draft trades that would send shockwaves throughout the NFL and a Parsons-to-Buffalo trade would rock the NFL.
“The Cowboys (although they probably won’t) should consider trading Parsons away for a haul of picks to an AFC team. The Buffalo Bills have remade their DL a bit in free agency this past offseason and could be in the market for one last move. Buffalo also has a ton of picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, so they do have enough capital to pull it off.”Lou Scataglia, NFL Spin Zone
If the Cowboys don’t find a way to extend Parsons to a long-term deal, it will be a complete shock…or will it? Dallas has a history of waiting until the last minute to extend their players like Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb. Will they do the same with Parsons?
On top of that, the Cowboys have a ton of needs that they need to address and could utilize gaining major draft capital. Even though Parsons is a for-sure franchise player, the Cowboys’ weaknesses are too great to overlook.
When you think about a player like Parsons and where he is at in his career, the return that the Cowboys could get for him would be an absolute haul. Infact, you could compare Parsons to Khalil Mack when he was traded from the Oakland Raiders to the Chicago Bears in 2018. Here is the breakdown of that trade and what the Raiders gained from the Bears in exchange for Mack:
The Bears would then later sign Mack to what was a record-setting six-year, $141 million deal which included $90 million guaranteed. Chicago got their edge rusher of the future while the Raiders were heading into a rebuild.
Now surely, because the Bills are so successful and are always picking near the end of the first round since 2020, giving up two-first round picks wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world to get a player like Parsons who is in his prime and has many more great years left. Putting him and Joey Bosa in Buffalo’s defense for 2025 would be absolutely unfair.
The only issue with this trade proposal for Parsons is what the Bills would have to pay Parsons because the market has skyrocketed since Mack’s deal from the Bears. Myles Garrett signed an extension with the Cleveland Browns that will pay him $40 million per year. Danielle Hunter was given a new deal by the Houston Texans that will pay him $35.6 million per year.
Parsons is well on his way to making between that range, if not more. He is averaging 14 sacks per season, recording double digit sacks every year since entering the league. In addition, Parsons is already a four-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro. Whether it’s from the Cowboys or someone else, he’s going to get paid.
Overall, even though the Bills having both Josh Allen and Micah Parsons on the team would be very unfair to the rest of the league, it’s hard to imagine the front office trading away the future for a player that is a big personality and is set to get paid big time bucks. That’s not like Beane and it’s difficult to see the Bills making a move like this just because of the logistics it would involve.
