Donald Trump’s dream has finally come true.

President Trump spent Monday afternoon golfing at his Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida with a handful of Buffalo Bills players.
The players included Spencer Brown, Sam Martin, Ryan Van Demark, Dalton Kincaid and recently retired Tommy Doyle.
Trump was able to hang out and chat with the players of the franchise he once sought to purchase more than a decade ago.
When former Bills owner Ralph Wilson passed away in March 2014, the franchise was put up for sale.
One of the interested buyers was Trump.
However, he never sounded too confident during the bidding process.
“I’ll be bidding, but many other people will be bidding,” Trump told Fox News in 2014.
“I would say the chances are very, very unlikely, because I’m not going to do something totally stupid.
Maybe just a little bit stupid, but not totally stupid.”
Trump was right in his personal assessment, as his bid to own an NFL team was ultimately a failure.

The NFL owners unanimously approved Terry and Kim Pegula’s purchase of the team at a then record price of $1.4 billion.
Trump’s pursuit of owning an NFL team ended thereafter.
He took his time, money and energy elsewhere shortly thereafter.
And that would be the campaign trail.
Instead of sitting in the owner’s suite at Highmark Stadium, he can now be found in the Oval Office inside the White House.
A true sliding doors moment of what could have been, if Trump’s bid to buy the Bills went through.

Would he have still pursued politics?
Would he have ever become America’s Commander in Chief?
We’ll never know.
However, what we do know, is that he isn’t holding any grudges against the NFL and the Bills, as evident by the photo of all of them hanging out at his course.
Trump has also spoken fondly of the Pegulas and Josh Allen in the past.

“The owner who got it is a very good man,” Trump said on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast.
“I think he’s done a great job. Well, he made a great pick—he picked a great quarterback in Josh [Allen].”
Trump also became the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl, when he attended Super Bowl LIX earlier this month.
