BREAKING : Who Are the Packers’ Biggest Bargain Players? Green Bay’s Top 5 Best Contracts in 2025

The Green Bay Packers fell short in the playoffs once more in 2024, losing out to the eventual Super Bowl winners after comfortably making the postseason. The Packers had the youngest roster in the NFL last season, something that has helped the team keep its costs down while remaining competitive.

This article lists five contracts that represent incredible value for the Packers ahead of the 2025 season.

NFL player contracts can be tricky to get your head around, with money being accounted for in several different ways. With that in mind, the focus is on each player’s average yearly money, in both guarantees and potential earnings, as averages give a better reflection of the whole contract.

Remaining contract years are not factored into this list, as it’s about the best-value contracts among those set to be on the 2025 roster.

Rasheed Walker

A seventh-round pick in 2022, Rasheed Walker has appeared in every single game for the Packers over the past two years, starting all but two. The value of a solid offensive line in today’s NFL can’t be overstated, and the Packers found a huge bargain in Walker.

Green Bay’s starting tackle has a yearly average of just $20,219 in guaranteed money, with a maximum earning of $935,219 per year on his current deal.

Zach Tom

Zach Tom was drafted three rounds earlier than Walker in 2022, which accounts for his earning a little more money. Nevertheless, Tom has started every single one of the team’s games over the past two seasons, making him a massive value.

Unlike Walker, Tom is almost guaranteed a place on the Packers’ starting lineup next season, something Walker will need to earn in camp. Tom has a guaranteed $126,084 per year on his current deal, with potential yearly earnings of up to $1,041,084.

Sean Rhyan

The third 2022 draft pick to make this list, Sean Rhyan, was drafted between Tom and Walker in Round 3. But that also means that he’s the third player on this list due to hit free agency in 2026. That will likely depend on Rhyan’s ability to earn a starting spot in 2025.

Rhyan also earned a full set of starts for Green Bay last year, but he’s not guaranteed a starting job next season. 2024 first-round pick Jordan Morgan struggled with injuries during his first year but will be looking to make a jump in Year 2. And with Green Bay adding Aaron Banks in free agency, coupled with Elgton Jenkins’ impending move to center, the team might not want to further disrupt its offensive line.

Rhyan’s guaranteed money averages out at $226,428 per year throughout his contract. In the case of all three offensive linemen on this list, the Packers have already gotten more than their money’s worth. There is, though, always the chance that all three players sign significant extensions before the season, which would take them off this list entirely.

Tucker Kraft

Tucker Kraft is the first non-offensive lineman on the list. A third-round pick in 2023, Kraft overtook his teammate Luke Musgrave on the depth chart in his first season, despite the latter being drafted a round earlier. Kraft has already become a go-to guy for Jordan Love and is one of the most reliable weapons in the Packers’ passing game.

A key player, as well as a fan favorite, Kraft has average annual guarantees of just $256,897, with potential earnings averaging out at $1,384,483.

Jayden Reed

Finally, Jayden Reed makes the list as arguably the team’s best receiving playmaker. Christian Watson is the team’s No. 1 receiver, but he is rarely healthy and will miss significant time in 2025 after suffering a torn ACL in Green Bay’s regular-season finale.

Reed earns significantly more money than Romeo Doubs but makes the list ahead of his teammate as the more talented player. The former led the Packers in receiving yards in 2024 and could do so again in 2025. New first-round rookie Matthew Golden may have something to say about that, but for now, Reed is Green Bay’s best proven receiving threat.

Reed has an average yearly guarantee of $1,012,196 and tops out at $1,795,195.
