Bills’ Dion Dawkins makes recruiting pitch to Browns’ Myles Garrett: ‘Let’s win a Super Bowl’

Buffalo Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins is on the recruiting trail on radio row.

Ahead of Super Bowl LIX, Dawkins is doing media interviews in New Orleans. House of Highlights spoke with Buffalo’s star tackle on Wednesday and asked Dawkins who he would pick if he could add one player to the Bills’ roster.

Dawkins jokingly said prime Allen Iverson before getting serious. Shortly after naming the former 76ers star, Dawkins made his real choice.

“Myles Garrett, right now,” Dawkins said while rocking a t-shirt of his likeness. “Come rock with us. Let’s win a Super Bowl.”

Dawkins’ choice could happen as the pass-rusher recently requested a trade. Much like Dawkins, Garrett is also making his rounds on radio row. In an interview with Rich Eisen, Garrett reiterated that he wants to join a contender.

“There are definitely contenders on the AFC side and the NFC side,” Garrett told Eisen. “I just wanna be in a position to play in those big games and win big games and feel like I can make a meaningful impact and elevate a team and take them over the top.”

Buffalo fits the contender criteria that Garrett is looking for and the Bills could certainly use a player of his caliber after once again coming up short against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

After coming so close to getting to the Super Bowl, don’t be surprised if Brandon Beane tries to make Dawkins’ wish come true. In his end-of-year press conference, Buffalo’s general manager told the media that he would love to add a difference-maker.

“We’ll turn over every stone we can to find them,” Beane said about game wreckers. “But would I love to add one of those guys? Heck yeah, I would. But we have a cap. We pick where we pick. You gotta make the best of what you got, and again, we would love to do that if that player’s out there.”
