The Buffalo Bills are fully entrenched in working to land stars of the future, and it sounds like they’re doing so by showing interest in one of the freakiest athletes at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine.
The team had an official meeting with Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant, a player that has been linked to them heavily in recent months. It also happens to be the player that I most want them to select, and his athleticism is a big reason why. According to Grant, he’s looking to post an absurd 40-yard dash time for his size.
Kenneth Grant is one of the freakiest athletes at the #NFLCombine this week. Said he’s trimmed to 332 as he’s hoping run in the 4.8s for the forty-yard dash, but still expects to hit 30 in bench press!

At this point, Kenneth Grant is becoming a well-known name amongst Bills Mafia — or at least he should be. With Buffalo’s desperate need for help on the defensive line, and a lack of any player along the front that possesses Grant’s combination of hulking size and incredible athleticism, Grant would be the draft day dream scenario for the Buffalo Bills.
When Grant chased down Penn State running back Kaytron Allen in 2023, it became clear that he was much more than just an immovable mass in the middle of a defensive line. He brings so much more to the game, and can contribute in a variety of ways that Buffalo so badly needs.

Grant is one of those players that the Bills should be aggressive in adding. He fits a 330 pound-sized puzzle piece on the defensive line that the Bills are needing. If he tests the way he thinks he will, though, he might not make it to where the Bills pick at the end of the first round. Maybe Grant will be a player that Brandon Beane is willing to trade up to secure.
