The Alabama Crimson Tide alum was drafted 24th overall by the Oakland Raiders in 2019 and there, he made a name for himself in an instant, winning the Pro Bowl in sophomore season in 2020 and the in 2020.
He was also named First Team All-Pro and became the NFL rushing yards leader in 2022.
Jacobs, who will turn 27 on February 11, continued his brilliance after moving to the Green Bay Packers last season, capping off his 2024 performance with his third Pro Bowl honor.
Individually, he is up there with the best of the best but he still lacks team honor. This is why he is shifting his attention to winning.
“Legacy, that’s the biggest thing,” Jacobs said during his one one with John Kuhn.
“When you’ve accomplished a lot of accolades in this league, the only thing you really care about is winning and the legacy that you leave when it’s all said and done.”

The star running back also wants to connect more to the Packers community.
“Being on the Packers, I’m just trying to leave my legacy for this franchise, leave my legacy in this building and for the fans. But not only that, leave my impact in the community with the things that I do with the outreach programs and in the locker room with the guys that play with me. I would say that’s the biggest thing for me.”

Another thing that endears him to fans is his commitment to making the team better.
Shortly after the team exited the playoffs, Jacobs said that he already has plans on now to make his team better. He already has names in mind to recruit.
“I know I’m going to try and get some guys in here. Most definitely that.”
