Most people go to a tattoo studio to get their tattoos done. However, a tattoo artist inked a stranger he met on flight thousands of feet in the air.

Tattoo artist Asher was recently flying and the stranger sitting next to him complimented his tattoos. She told him that she was planning to get inked on their trip but didn’t know where to go.

When Asher got in conversation with the woman, he told her that he was a tattoo artist and jokingly offered to give her ink mid-air.

“I jokingly brought up that I had all of my tattoo equipment with me. At first, it was just a casual suggestion, but as we continued talking, it seemed like she was very eager and comfortable with that experience, and she seemed to be looking for adventure on the trip,” Asher told Buzzfeed.

He said, “Usually, when I meet my clients, there is either an instant connection where we are on the same page or not. I felt very comfortable with her, and she felt very comfortable with me after chatting for a short period of time on the plane.”

The tattoo artist told his flight customer that the tattoo outline was not going to be stencilled and they even talked about bumps and turbulence.

He then went on to tattoo a “hello” on her right hand.

Asher made sure that everything was sanitary and even got permission from flight attendants.

No one on the plane got to know that someone was receiving a tattoo on the flight as the wireless machine was incredibly quiet.
