With ease, Ayesha Curry returned to her tight white engagement dress from when she was getting married to husband Stephen in 2011.
With a side-by-side photo of herself wearing an almost ten-year-old garment, the Food Network star showed off her 35 pounds of weight loss as the 31-year-old mother-of-three and the 32-year-old basketball player celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary.
She posted two photos of herself, one from May 2011 and the other from May 2020, with the remark, “I tried on my engagement photo shoot dress a couple months ago and it FINALLY fit again.”
Her boyfriend is seen sitting down with one hand resting on his chin as she stretches out her arm.
Her over 7 million Instagram followers seemed to be delighted by the photos, as they quickly commented on her two-year-old son’s endearing look.
Her youngest was observed staring at his mother, who was just a few feet away, posing for her gorgeous mirror picture, mouth open.
Ayesha maintained that the garment was “definitely the same” in spite of some comments implying otherwise. She also emphasized that one of the photos is a “professional photo and ones a mirror selfie so everything is in reverse.”
Olivia Munn and other famous friends showered her with love, and Sarah Michelle Gellar remarked, “It’s the best feeling.”
After meeting in a religious youth group as teenagers, Ayesha and Stephen reconnected as adults, with him attending college and she performing in Los Angeles.
They got married three years after their first date, and since then, their three children—a son, Canon, two—and two daughters, Riley, eight, and Ryan, five—have been born.
She wrote, “So grateful for every day God gifts us,” as the caption for a cute photo of him kissing her on their anniversary when they were outside by the water.
