La’el Collins’ reunion with the Dallas Cowboys was short-lived.

Collins announced in an Instagram post on Thursday that he has signed with the Buffalo Bills. The deal is reportedly for one year.

After spending the 2022 season with the Cincinnati Bengals, Collins was signed to the Cowboys’ practice squad late last season. He wasn’t active in any games for Dallas last season.

Collins notably played left guard early in his Dallas career, but moved to right tackle in 2017, leading to the massive five-year, $50 million extension he signed with the club in 2019.

However, he was released during the 2022 offseason with three years remaining on his contract in a cost-saving maneuver.

Collins signed with the Cincinnati Bengals and started 15 games at right tackle in 2022. He was released in September 2023 amid a rash of injuries throughout his tenure with the team.

Collins is the third offensive lineman to leave the franchise in free agency this offseason. Longtime left tackle Tyron Smith signed with the New York Jets and center Tyler Biadasz signed with the Washington Commanders.
