Recently, 37-year-old NBA star Goran Dragic planned to retire in 2024 with a match in the capital of Slovenia, this star’s hometown.  

Sharing with a Slovenian sports website, this country’s basketball legend said he plans to hold a farewell match in August next year. In this match, the Goran Dragic Foundation will be the organizer with the participation of a number of NBA players  , including a compatriot who is currently playing very impressively for the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic.

Talking about Goran Dragic, this player has played 15 seasons in the NBA and most recently played for the Milwaukee Bucks at the end of last season. However, the Slovenian player’s most impressive NBA season was the 2013 – 2014 season with the Phoenix Suns with 20.3 points and 5.9 assists per game. 



At the same time, he also received the “Most improved player of the tournament” award and reached third place with the Suns. After that season, Dragic joined the Miami Heat where he took over the playmaking and scoring position from  Lebron James  with statistics of 16.2 points and 5.2 assists.

Going back to the past, Dragic’s career included four four seasons playing in his hometown and he won the “Rookie of the Year” award along with the all-star before being brought to the NBA by the Spurs the following season. . In addition to the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat, Goran Dragic also played for the Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors before coming to the Milwaukee Bucks.

During 15 seasons in the  NBA  , the Slovenian player averaged 13.3 points with 36.2% coming from 3-pointers and averaged 4.7 assists per game. He also received the All-Star award in 2018.
