The Miami Herald reported that on August 30, a group of scientists from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) discovered a mysterious yellow object while exploring a mountain. fire off the southern coast of Alaska.

This strange spherical object lies on the ocean floor, about 2 miles above the surface of the Pacific Ocean, leaving ocean researchers confused. At that time, scientists were mapping the Alaskan seabed using remotely controlled vehicles. Not only that, the researchers were even more surprised to discover that this mysterious sphere had a hole inside, as if something had passed through it.

The Miami Herald reported that researchers finally decided to use a robotic arm on a remote-controlled vehicle to collect samples, and conduct DNA testing to determine where this golden egg came from.

“I just hope nothing comes out when I poke it,” one scientist commented as the team activated the robot arm. “It was like the opening of a horror movie.”

What relieved scientists was that nothing jumped out of the “egg”. When the robot tickles this sphere with its hand, it appears very fragile, not like gelatin but more like silk. The object was then sucked through a tube and will soon be tested in a lab, the Miami Herald said.

According to the research paper, the researchers had some less scientific guesses as to what the sphere might be. For example, could it be some kind of ancient eggshell, or the remains of a foraminifera? However, in general they are quite confused and uncertain about these conjectures.

According to the Miami Herald, one member of the research team said: “It’s strange that our common sense cannot know what it is.” “What kind of animal lays an eggshell like that?”
