Brandon Aiyuk got married to his longtime girlfriend and fiancee, Rochelle Searight, and his former ASU teammate, Jayden Daniels, was invited to the wedding.
On April 12, 2025, Brandon Aiyuk married his girlfriend, Rochelle Searight, in a private wedding ceremony surrounded by family and close friends. Among the guests was Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Even though Aiyuk is still recovering from an injury that he suffered last year, the off-season is the best time to get married. Aiyuk wore a special white tuxedo for the occasion and walked to the altar while holding the hand of his son, Braylon.
Hip-hop music played in the background as Aiyuk’s friends welcomed him by throwing cash up in the air like flower petals. One of them was the familiar face of Jayden Daniels in a black suit and shades, as if he came right after shooting for a Michael B. Jordan movie.

Why was Jayden Daniels at Brandon Aiyuk’s wedding?
Aiyuk and Daniels go way back. The 27-year-old was in his final year of college football at Arizona State when a freshman rookie from California took over the quarterback duty. The Sundevils finished the year with an 8-4 record.

During that year, Aiyuk and Daniels struck a chord with each other. With the 24-year-old calling shots from the middle of the field, Aiyuk recorded 65 receptions for 1192 yards and 8 touchdowns before the 49ers drafted him 25th overall in 2020.
Daniels stuck around for two more seasons before transferring to LSU. At NOLA he bagged the Heisman Trophy in his senior year, and the Commanders drafted him 2nd overall in 2024.
Last season, the Niners came close to losing Aiyuk. His contract was nearing expiration, but the extension was taking longer than he had anticipated.
He was scheduled to appear on Ryan Clark’s podcast. Out of nowhere, he showed up with Jayden Daniels for the shoot, which caught everyone off guard.
Aiyuk sent a message to the 49ers to either pay him or let him sign with the Commanders because Daniels was there. Not long after the stunt, John Lynch and Jed York extended his contract to $30 million per year.
Fans expected results equivalent to the money, but Aiyuk’s season ended prematurely after tearing his ACL and MCL. In the meantime, the Niner traded Deebo Samuel to the Commanders, more or less closing the door for an Aiyuk-Daniels reunion in the capital city.
Who is Rochelle Searight?
Aiyuk has several sides to his persona. He’s an elite receiver on the football field, but off it, a fun and caring partner to Rochelle Searight.
According to People magazine, the two met each other in their teens at Arizona State University. After the 49ers drafted Aiyuk in 2020, Searight packed her bags and followed her beau to live in the Bay Area. While some found it hard to adapt to life in San Fran, it was a delight for the Aiyuk and Searight.

Not long after, Searight teased the birth of her baby boy, Braylon, but she held off posting any photos until he was a few months old. “You’re all I need,” Rochelle wrote, People reported.
Rochelle Searight studied cosmology at ASU and currently uses her knowledge to spread awareness about her line work. She has always been a big supporter of Aiyuk’s career in football. The pair announced their engagement on the 8th of November, 2024.
On March 17, Searight shared a special message for Aiyuk on his 27th birthday.
Happy Birthday to the most special person in my life I pray this is the best year you’ve ever experienced. Nothing would bring me more joy than to be sitting together 365 days from now & you tell me that 27 was the best year of your life.
