Josh Jacobs sure sounds like he loves Green Bay after Year 1 with Packers

After some controversial comments, Jacobs brought back the warm fuzzies.

After just one season, Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has immersed himself into the organization and city.

Some might be wondering why he’s been so outspoken this offseason, already, about key team needs. Specifically, Jacobs recently called out his wide receiver room in a roundabout way by noting the need for a legitimate no. 1 option.

But, this is all because he cares. Jacobs already has the makings of an all-time Packer. The man wants to win, and that’s exactly what fans want as well. This doesn’t make him a bad teammate or a bad guy, by any means. He’s just telling it like it is.

On the same note of telling the whole truth, Jacobs recently spoke very highly of his first year in Green Bay during an interview with Sterling Holmes of Stacking the Box.

Jacobs and fellow running back AJ Dillon sat down with Holmes, on behalf of their partnership with Bounty, to talk all things Green Bay, Super Bowl and a few other topics during Radio Row.

Josh Jacobs loves being in Green Bay, but so does AJ Dillon

When asked about Green Bay, the fan base and overall experience playing for such a historical franchise, Jacobs spoke glowingly.

“We have a great fan base … just to be in the atmosphere, you feel the energy. It’s different, man,” Jacobs said. “Especially when it gets colder and you see everybody dressed the same, and you see the field, might have snow or whatever. It’s just a different vibe.”
