49ers’ George Kittle, Fred Warner, Kyle Juszczyk and Nick Bosa end season with a trophy as NFC’s Pro Bowl Games streak continues

It’s not the hardware they wanted, but four members of the San Francisco 49ers were able to get their hands on a trophy on Sunday.

George Kittle, Fred Warner, Kyle Juszczyk and Nick Bosa, San Francisco’s four Pro Bowlers this season, were able to celebrate victory as the NFC clinched a third successive victory in the Pro Bowl Games.

At the end of the skills competition and the flag football game at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL, the NFC emerged victorious 76-63.

They were helped in the flag football game by touchdowns from Juszczyk and Kittle. Juszczyk made a diving catch to his left on the opening drive, while Kittle had the chance to perform a celebratory spike of the football after a touchdown catch on a scramble drill from Baker Mayfield.

Bosa did not play any part in the flag football game, but he did contribute to the NFC’s victory by helping them prevail in the tug of war contest.

The same four 49ers players were also involved in the NFC’s victory over the AFC in 2022.

They obviously would have preferred to be skipping the Pro Bowl Games again as they did last year when the 49ers went within one play of winning Super Bowl 58.

But a victory in the annual All-Star event is at least a nice way for the quartet to end a difficult season in which the 49ers fell well short of expectations.

Both Warner and Bosa battled injuries during the campaign, the former playing through a fracture in his ankle from Week 4 onwards.

Now, with the 2024 season officially at an end for that pair and for Kittle and Juszczyk, they can join the rest of the roster in taking some time off and resting up for what they hope will be a significantly better 2025
