Video Transcript

Last week was underwhelming for Aaron Jones.

He had 19 attempts for just 58 yards and two receptions for 37 yards.

The volume was there.

The efficiency was not.

There are some good takeaways here though.

The Vikings usage of Aaron Jones is very clear.

He is the only back that they want to use over the past two games since the Vikings by a week.

He has out touch Ty Chandler 38 to 2.

Yes, just two touches for Ty Chandler.

We want to lean on volume running backs particularly when they are healthy is volume.

The best bet for Jones long term in terms of his usage of the season.

Probably not, but it is our best bet right now for us.

Lean into Aaron Jones this week against the Indianapolis Colts.

The beauty of Aaron Jones is that even on his worst week, he is still better than the vast majority of running backs.

His worst performance was back in week five against the Jets where he finished as RB 41 one because he played only 22% of snaps that got injured excluding that game.

He has never finished lower than RB 32 his consistency, reliability and upside when healthy are there with the best in the league expect Jones to dominate touches.

Again, I am looking at 25 total touches over 100 and 20 total yards and a touchdown.
