Tom Brady Delivers 5-Word Reaction to Patrick Mahomes’ Interception on ‘Monday Night Football’

The undefeated Kansas City Chiefs appeared poised to put the New Orleans Saints away on “Monday Night Football,” pushing the ball inside the five-yard line with a 16-7 lead and electrifying Arrowhead Stadium.

However, the unexpected happened when Patrick Mahomes threw a quick slant to wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. He bobbled the ball, which popped into the air, allowing Saints defensive lineman Khalen Saunders to snatch it and return it to the 40-yard line, giving New Orleans a glimmer of hope.

Moments after the interception, Tom Brady weighed in on the play with a simple five-word reaction.

“Big man on the move!!!!” Brady posted on social media. 

While Patrick Mahomes has established himself as the best quarterback in the league, it’s rare for him to turn the ball over in prime scoring positions—something that was also a hallmark of Tom Brady’s game.

Brady and Mahomes share a mutual respect and have faced off in several high-stakes battles, including a memorable Super Bowl where Brady outlasted Mahomes to secure his seventh championship. Fast forward to today, and Mahomes has already claimed three titles of his own.

As two of the top quarterbacks of the past decade, it’s noteworthy that Brady, now a broadcaster for Fox, has yet to call a Chiefs game. When that opportunity arises, it will undoubtedly be an iconic moment, allowing fans to hear Brady dissect Mahomes’ game in real time.
