There has been a constant back and forth reporting over Stephen Curry’s future at the Golden State Warriors. Despite he was the one who came out to calm everybody down, the media has gone out of their way to talk about a potential rupture between the team’s leadership and the star. Klay Thompson leaving the team left a giant gap that everybody in Golden State wants to fill. Something needs to happen between now and the upcoming NBA season or there could be a catastrophic result. Stephen Curry needs a new NBA All-Star teammate who can help him keep fighting for trophies. According to Athlon Sports, the ‘Three-Point King’ could leave if no player arrives.

Athlon Sports also reported that Stephen Curry has been trying to court other NBA stars in order to convince them to play for the Golden State Warriors. According to this other report, Curry courted none other than Paul George before the All-Starplayer decided to play for the Philadelphia 76ers next season. Steph is currently under contract through the 2026-27 season after adding one year that is worth $62.6 million. Curry will be 38 years old for the majority of that season. But there is someone who thinks he could leave way before that season if things don’t work out for the Warriors.

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst claims that Stephen Curry is waiting for the Warriors leadership to make a move for a new All-Star. If this doesn’t happen, there is a good possibility that Curry leaves Golden State this season. ‘Windy’ is convinced that should the Golden State Warriors not find a new player to accompany Curry on offense, they are willing to trade him before the season starts and maybe even during the next trade deadline. Even Stephen A. Smith was a bit harsh against coach Steve Kerr for not taking action despite seeing the brewing problem. What will happen with Stephen Curry at the Golden State Warriors?
