Fans’ worst Messi tattoo will make you laugh

A fan has tattooed Lionel Messi ‘worst ever’ after the 35-year-old Argentina captain lifted the world championship trophy.

A football fan has a tattoo of Lionel Messi holding the 2022 World Cup trophy on his back. It immediately caused great attention on social networks because of the ugliness of the picture. Many fans commented jokingly and called it ‘the ugliest tattoo ever on Lionel Messi’.

The tattoo shows Messi smiling brightly holding the World Cup trophy in his hand in the colors of the Argentina national team. The problem is that the tattoo ratio is abnormally skewed, making fans laugh.

Lionel Messi is noticeably fatter in the tattoo, although his image is easily recognizable. Many fans were quick to comment mocking the disaster tattoo.

One person commented: ‘When the tattoo artist is a Brazilian fan’. Another wrote: ‘It looks like Messi in 2026 is 39 years old and overweight. The third said: ‘This guy should go to the tattoo parlor to get his money back’. A fourth spotted the resemblance between Messi and Rooney adding: ‘Looks like a mix of Messi and Rooney’.

Messi lifts the trophy after Argentina beat France in the emotional 2022 World Cup final in Qatar. Messi scored twice in the final and Argentina’s other goal was scored by Angel Di Maria. However, Messi’s teammate at PSG Kylian Mbappe scored a hat-trick to push the game to a penalty shootout after the two teams drew 3-3.

Lionel Messi successfully completed the first penalty kick, and Gonzalo Montiel was the one who accurately shot the decisive penalty to bring the 2022 World Cup championship to Argentina. The World Cup title helped Messi complete his championship collection, and he was admitted to surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo to become GOAT – the best player of all time.
