The weirdest nails in the world

Some people wear nails because they want to reduce their temper, others hope that thanks to it, they will have the opportunity to meet many famous people. Here are special ‘swipe sets’. Image on Oddee.

Mrs. Lee Redmond of Utah started growing her nails in 1979. This woman’s nails are well cared for and have a total length of 8.65 m. Mrs. Lee’s ‘pride’ was once recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records, but unfortunately they were forced to ‘sacrifice’ after the owner was in a car accident.

Shridhar Chillal, born in 1938 in India, once held the world record for a hand with the longest nail. In 1952, the above man started to grow long nails. Although he is very proud of it, Mr. Chillal also admits to having many difficulties in life. Due to the weight of the ‘claw’ set too heavy, one ear of Chillal was deaf. Finally, at the end of 2002, he decided to cut them out.

Jazz Ison Sinkfield owns nails about 60 cm long. The woman from Georgia hopes that with her special nails, she will have the opportunity to meet TV Queen Oprah and many other celebrities. To beautify and care for those ’10 children’, each month, Mrs. Jazz spends 250 USD.

If the above women are proud of their nails, Louise Hollis of California is proud of her toenails longer than 15 cm. Louise was wearing nothing but flip-flops.

Wen Jian, 42, has grown his nails long in China for the past 14 years to reduce his temper. Mr. Wen said that before he didn’t have them, he used to quarrel a lot. Thanks to those 35 cm long nails, he was less aggressive than before. To keep his nails from breaking, he sleeps with his hands in the shoebox.

In 2010, Mr. Melvin Feizel Boothe from Michigan, USA held the world record for long nails.

In October 1997, Lauretta Adams from Texas, USA, decided to cut her nails that she had raised for 24 years. She said, the longest nail is 89 cm and the total length of the nails is 381 cm.

A man named Li Jianping, 43, from Fujian province, China, wears his nails because he wants to follow the fashion in a movie. The hand with long nails in the photo is the result of 27 years without cutting.

Although not recognized as a world record, Barbara Wing of Utah’s Salt Lake City still takes great care and paints her nails.
