No need to carry a wallet, the guy figured out how to use his arm to pay for everything

This young man wanted to have a unique tattoo and he really came up with an idea few people thought of.

Many people choose to tattoo images, characters, and words that have a special meaning for them or because of their hobbies. The guy in this story is somewhat different when he decides to get a barcode tattoo to save time and make payment more convenient.

The young man, nicknamed Pingtung, from Taiwan posted a selfie on social media to share the barcode tattoo he just completed.

Pingtung said he has always wanted to have some special tattoo on his body, a pattern that is more special than the common patterns that people usually tattoo. One day, while thinking about taking out his mobile phone to scan the code every time he made a payment, Pingtung came up with a daring idea to solve the problem.

The boy tattooed a payment barcode on his hand.

He decided to tattoo the “payment barcode” on his mobile phone on his arm. “I was very nervous when I got the tattoo, because if I moved a little it could ruin the tattoo, but fortunately it was done smoothly in the end,” the young man shared.

After the tattoo was completed, Pingtung was immediately amused at the idea that the barcode could actually be used, cheerfully saying: “Now when I buy something and scan the code, the salesperson says will show a strange expression, making me extremely happy.”

Surprisingly, this barcode is completely usable.

More remarkable is that the guy’s tattoo actually works. The barcode printed on the Pingtung arm can pay bills at convenience stores and gas stations. He admits that sometimes people stare at him and are amazed that his tattoo actually works.

Up to now, Pingtung said he has not encountered any problems when paying with his… arm. I am very pleased with this tattoo because as long as the artist makes one of the lines too thick or too thin, or if the space between the bars is a little wider than the actual barcode, it will not work as well. plan. It is known that his tattoo took only half an hour to complete.

So far he has had no problem “paying” for his tattoo.

Although his tattoo is getting a lot of attention, the guy advises those who want to do the same to think carefully. The risk of barcode errors not working because of errors at tattooing can happen.

Moreover, despite the good fortune of receiving a complete and usable barcode, no one knows how long its “shelf life” can last. The tattoo owner’s weight gain or loss can affect the size of the barcode, resulting in it being inoperable.

According to the tattooist, such tattoos can last for about five years if they are well maintained, so think twice before getting one.
