Wilma Hägglund had hoped for a humorous ‘meow’ tattoo on the inside of her pout, but ended up with the phrase boldly branded across her bottom outer lip – many people have questioned how she didn’t know about the placement during the appointment

While some people agonise for years over finding the perfect tattoo style and placement before taking the plunge, many other tattoos are simply done for the hell of it, as the spontaneous folk among us sit in the artist’s chair for the thrill, or just to get something quirky and light-hearted inked on their bodies.

The Swede got the the exact tattoo style she wanted… just in the complete wrong place

One such woman had planned a humorous tattoo on the inside of her lip – a common placement for those looking for a fun piece that is always hidden unless shown – but was left with a horrifying end result as the artist somehow inked her outer lip instead.

She couldn’t believe what had happened

Taking to TikTok to share her dreadful experience, Wilma Hägglund, who posts under the username @ wilmah10, was left screaming and in tears after the word ‘meow’ was permanently inked onto her bottom outer lip – an inescapable placement that she had no intention of choosing.

Written in Swedish, Wilma shared a photo of her crying with her hand over her mouth, with a caption that roughly translates to: “he tattooed on the wrong place in my f****** mouth”.

The shocking clip then moves onto a photo that Wilma used as inspiration for her ink, which shows another woman with the word ‘meow’ inked on then inside of her lip.

You can clearly see that the woman’s tattoo is on the inner part of her lip, as in the photo, she pulls her skin downwards to reveal the tatt. However, Wilma ended up with something completely different when she sat in the tattoo chair and was devastated by the outcome.

After explaining what ink she actually wanted via the photo, she then revealed the severity of her failed tattoo, as the clip concludes with a snap of her bottom outer lip boldly branded with the cat-inspired word – leaving people’s jaws on the floor.

The viral video, which has amassed more than 3 million views to date, has left people flabbergasted as to how Wilma had no idea what was happening throughout the tattoo process, as many TikTok users are pointing out that the young woman must have felt the placement of the needle.

One person wrote “how could you not notice while he was doing it” with crying emojis, while another said “there’s just no way unless you were drunk or your tattoo artist”.

Another TikTok user had plenty of questions for Wilma, adding: “….were you passed out during? How do you not feel the placement difference? Didn’t you have to hold your lip open??? HOW girl how ??”.

Since sharing her tattoo blunder online, Wilma has posted another follow-up video to her page, revealing that she has undergone laser treatment in an attempt to remove the shocking ink.

The second video shows an image of her looking happy and excited in the tattoo artist’s chair ahead of the appointment, with the artist’s faced blurred out, as well as more staggering footage of the woman screaming and crying in a car after finding out what he had done to her lip, as she shouts ‘oh my god’.

The footage ends with a photo of Wilma’s tattoo looking significantly faded, with a caption explaining that she’s had one laser removal session so far.

More stunned TikTok users flocked to the comments section of the update video, where one joked: “gotta put lipstick in ur everyday makeup routine now”.

Another said: “I feel like she went to get it as a funny INSIDE LIP tattoo and the guy just did it on her lip”.

Various people continued to question whether Wilma checked the stencil placement before the artist started inking her lip, but the woman has yet to provide answers on her TikTok page.
